Amir John Haddad “El Amir” is a musician in constant research for new musical frontiers. “El Amir” already has a long career and a lot of collaborations with renowned national and international artists. His latest collaboration has been his appearence on both of Maria Dolores Pradera’s latest albums released in November 2012 and 2013. She is one of Spain’s most renowned and famous singers. He recorded flamenco guitar for some of the most remarkable songs featuring Estrella Morente, Jose Merce, Diego “El Cigala”, Miguel Poveda.

Right now he is preparing and recording the second album with his world music band Zoobazar “Dos” which counts with great featuring artists such as Jorge Pardo, Carmen Paris, Hamsika Iyer (Mumbai, best female vocals 2013), his fatherRimon Haddad and the legendary klezmer and world music band Kroke from Krakow.

In March 2013 he released his second flamenco guitar solo album “9 Guitarras” (Galileo) which had great reviews and good critics in press and media as well great acceptance among the audience, fans and aficionados. The album just got nominated for “Best World Music Album 2013” by the World Music Central USA. The votings are taking place right now.

Due to this year’s 400th anniversary of diplomatic exchange between Spain and Japan, “El Amir” performed at the
“Royal Theater” in Madrid (Teatro Real) together with japanese pianist Mine Kawakami and shared the evening together with recognized artists like Miguel Poveda, Chicuelo, Shoji Kojima. Besides being a musician, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist he also has been the producer of José Salinas debut album“Tierra de luz” (Galileo 2013) which has been released one month ago and already has a lot of success in press and media.
